Infant Room Recital

Reagan participated in her first school recital on Thursday!  And I say recital very generously as the infant room was only responsible for one song... Jingle Bells, which meant the teachers were singing along to music and the kids were supposed to shake their bells.  They all walked into the room bright-eyed to see a mass amount of people clapping for them and then they sat down in their line to begin their performance.  Unfortunately, once they all saw their parents they decided to make a run for it.  It was still an absolutely adorable attempt at Christmas cheer by the infants, loved it :)

She really was excited to go to school, despite the look on her face above.
She was just upset I put her down & couldn't pick her up right away.

Safe & sound with her Daddy, and ready to go on Christmas break until the new year!

Here Comes Santa Claus

Reagan met the big guy.... yes, SANTA CLAUS!!!!  Unfortunately, she wasn't as impressed with him holding her as she was when she was smiling and waving to the jolly man in red while her Daddy was holding her.  Her smile turned upside down and immediately the tears started rolling down her face.  Thankfully, the photographer was able to capture this iconic childhood moment in a very artistic way and it simply looks like Reagan is so enamored by Santa that she just couldn't take her eyes off of him :)

On a bah-hum-bug note, Santa's schedule for taking pictures was extremely inconvenient to those of us mall go-ers who thought we had a good idea getting there before the dinner hour.  We arrived at Santa's traveling workshop at about 4:15 only to find out that Santa was done with pictures and wouldn't be returning until 6:05.  That meant we had to occupy ourselves and tired mini-toddler for almost two hours while not completely ruining her outfit (or mood).  You would think with how busy this man is for the month of December that he'd be prepared for the long haul of picture taking and present giving, and not worried about dinner breaks during busy hours!

Reagan's First Halloween... Baaaaa

Yesterday was Reagan's first Halloween and it was quite a night to remember!  Aunt Jamie gave Reagan a Halloween headband and tutu she donned all day with her "Daddy's Under My Spell" shirt.  She had a spook-tacular day at home with her Mom-Mom playing with her toys.

BOO!
Daddy has school on Monday nights so we had an early family dinner with Mom-Mom, Grandmom & Grandpop and got Reagan dressed so Daddy could see her all dressed up as a Fuzzy Lamb.  Did someone hear a "baaaaa"??

Daddy's advice to Reagan?  "Only take the good candy!"

Reagan made the trip to our neighbors houses to show off her costume and say "Trick or Treat" or whatever "ahbadeada" means.  Needless to say, she was quite the hit amongst the neighbors..... and of course, didn't leave her lamb head on for very long.

Born in the USA

The Fourth of July brought many thoughts and prayers of thanks for our Independence!  And later in the day, a family BBQ to celebrate the holiday and say farewell to Auntie Jamie as she embarks on her journey to Hotlanta to pursue a new job at KC!  Best of luck and happiness, Jaimers!
American Sweetie... her shirt even says so!

Reagan Rewind... 7 Months Old (June)

With our peanut getting bigger by the day, and even more active, we upgraded our backyard to include a swing and sandbox to keep Reagan active and entertained!

Grandmom & Grandpop came over to see Reagan's new outdoor activities!

Even though Reagan has her own little pool at home, and we belong to the local swim club, she had her first pool float ride courtesy of Aunt Larstar!

6.9.11 - New float!

Reagan celebrated Father's Day (early) with her Daddy & Grandpop at the Phillies Game on June 12 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia!  It was a very hot and humid day, so she only lasted a couple innings in the seats and then she walked the stadium the rest of the game with her Mommy!  Reagan loves to people watch so she had a ton of fun seeing everyone decked out in their Red and White cheering on the home team :)

We celebrated Father's Day a little late due to Reagan's first illness :(  She came down with a stomach bug that had her very under the weather and cranky.  So we waited a week to celebrate Father's Day with Daddy & Grandpop!

After just a few minutes in the sandbox, she decided it was time to finally see what it tastes like... not a good idea!  However, that led to a rinsing in the sink in which she thought the water coming out of the faucet was so cool and kept sticking her head under.

6.18.11 - "Who me?"

Reagan Rewind... 6 Months Old (May)

Reagan helped her Daddy & Grandpop celebrate their birthdays by helping blow out the candles!

My first Mother's Day was a beautiful day!  Spent visiting with all of the women who make our lives so wonderful.  Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of our visits with my Mom (Mom-Mom to Reagan) or Mary Ann (Grandmom to Reagan).

Reagan wishing her Grammy & Great-Grandmom a Happy Mother's Day
Such a fun way to end our day :)

Sitting up like a big girl!
5.22.11 - Roxie wasn't sure what this kid was up to now
Memorial Day weekend brought dips in the pool and trips to the beach!

Roxie wasn't sure why Reagan was allowed in what used to be Roxie's pool yet she wasn't.
Just the girls :)
5.29.11 - Big Girl in the Shopping Cart
5.29.11 - BBQ at Grandpop & Grandmom's, even Mom-Mom was there!

5.30.11 - Playing in the baby pool with Daddy!

Easter Bunny

Reagan's First Easter!

After many attempts at the perfect smile, we finally got a picture we both loved of Reagan with the Easter Bunny!  Too bad at the last minute, she kicked off one of her shoes.
